I am sure many of you (as I have) have trusted the Royal Mail to deliver your post for many years. I have been making use of the Mail service for years and with the exception of the DWP have never had one piece of post, regardless of size, get lost in the post! Its amazing, but the first time I applied for IB the form disappeared and was declared “lost in the post” by the DWP. Lucky I kept a copy and was able to hand it in then! isn’t it?

Here is an interesting solution. If they call, they will want to make sure that they are talking to the right person and will not leave a message. When they call they will ask you some security questions like date of birth, national insurance no, first line of your address? Sound familiar? well then its probably because you saw the same news article as I did which warned against giving personal information over the telephone or by email. So when they call, tell them you have no intention of giving personal information to a total stranger calling from an 08 or similar number, quickly say goodbye and put the phone down before they have a chance to say anything more regarding posting the details to you.
Be careful what you say though, as they record every conversation they have with you, but conveniently forget to tell you this when they call, this must be illegal and needs to be addressed urgently.

Talking about them recording conversations over the phone,did you know they have been running trials of ‘Voice Risk Analysis’ on calls for certain benefits (housing benefit I think).
To put it simply, a machine/computer analyses your voice and flags up a warning if it thinks your lying.
Obviously in the DWP’s eyes (but not in most peoples) that no doubt would be sufficient to target you for benefit fraud investigation…
Google it, you may be suprised the depths they are sinking to,and the tactics they have tried.

Strange my sick note went missing because of a compalint….and they did not seem to have my 3 appeals letters in their system??? one faxed by my local MP?
I think he is seeing what is happening what he is going to say about it in the housy come on ( house of commons) I would like to know. I did ask him to bring my case up in the old chambers and I hope he has or will.
ALL MP’s in their towns are seeing their sick people being trodden on and put into poverty all because the goverment needs more taxes to pay the debts…GET OF THE BACKS OF THE SICK or I will call Robin Hood-who he/she will be there to stop all this inhuman disgrace i do not know who they will be but they better rear their heads soon.

I have to send them another sicknote by early July and my daughter who takes me to the doctors is going to ask for 1 for 12 months :-0 Now I wonder what they will think of receiving one that says it is valid for a full year

I have had it the losing game done to me a couple of times a gain this year that is why i send a copy of the MED3 to the JCP distirct manager-JCP cheif excutive and MP and ombudsman all at the same time so they all now i have sent one and then ask for a reply to have JCP/IB team got my sick note. It is working i have had replies and a phone call to tell me yes they do have this saves them stopping your benefits because your Med3 is lost, simple!-Oh but the way I won my case sort of?-with ATOS at the Higher Tier though they put the Dr as maybe needed training for mental health as the ESA85 was not filled out properly and condridicted itsels-thats because she did not put what i was saying- but the Higher Tier are making out that she maybe had not been trained enough in mental health-so why did ATOS employ someone who was not trained properly? I have been told by the ombudsman i have to go through the JCP cheif excutive now and yet i thought it was the Higher Tier and then you go to Ombudsman anyone shed any light on this? Sandy

i totaly agree with everything i read-its sounds exactly like my situation!,they are so predictable with their LIES missing letters and so on,it seems we all get the same old chestnut from these prats.when will we be able to put a stop to this nonesense,if you check the postal address of their complaints office-part of it is GOVERNMENT BUILDING?make what you will of that one!

re my above post,i forgot to mention i sent a letter to these people requesting more information on thier “doctors” surprise surprise they have not received it!,i sent it recorded as advised by my mp,i have of course notified them of this (after they said they did not have it)i intended to go through the royal mail missing post proceedure,lets play them at their own game!i will keep you all posted on the outcome.

They did the same to me, I followed the path you are on and found that someone at the local ATOS office signed for a bulk delivery. Ask the post office if they can provide you with evidence of reciept for your letter, do the same with ATOS make a FOI regarding your particular letter and a description of thier method of acknowledging reciept of registered post. Then persue the person who signed to accept delivery at ATOS end as well as the post office, it will cause ructions. One of the two are incompetent and that is what you need to establish here, if its resulted in loss you might even have a case for compensation, who knows might be worth talking to a legal advisor. Perhaps we should record their excuses in a little black book, and then each time they pull a stunt reminding them, “you have used that one already recently, but hey you havent used this one for awhile!” It least they know we are aware of their tactics.
Remeber All mail to Atos and DWP should have STRICTLY PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL written on top of envelope to avoid the post office sorting depots opening it as they are instructed by the DWP to do so. See BBC ‘Ouch’ forum on the matter of them opening our mail.

My post, since 2009 has been tampered with, lost/stolen? And arriving upto 3weeks after the date on the letter.
This is mostly bank letters and council letters, which is odd because Atos letter (when i did not attend the, christmas killer 21/12/10 non medical, ‘medical assessment to medically determine fitness’), arrived on xmas eve 2010…. Argh!
Giving me a week to respond.
Bearing in mind there was, xmas day, boxing day and, a bank holiday, then a new year holiday, it seems my response, not only had a slim chance of being received within a week, but was not going to be read and understood anyway.
I explained about how they were being a very unprofessional bunch to demand a response within a week containing 3 days of non post, i expressed my impossibility to have them receive.
I asked how exactly should i be able, if they saw a way? And i told them i was very much responding within a week, as to them receiving within a week? would be their problem not mine.
Explained most post is stolen or lost and that i had both a royal mail ref number and, a police crime ref number, (didnt give either, because wont unless asked, id then ring/email the police first to see if i should. hee hee, not that i did do, i was never asked to, grrr but i just wanted to giv atos the run around. I wouldve written them explaining i was asking the police first, itd be a minor annoyance i know, but hey! If i get a kick out of it. Lol

A lot of you people on here are not sick. You claim to be sick as you are too lazy to work. Majority of you will more than likely be claiming hb & ct whilst living in quite nice accom. Yet you constantly criticise and complain about the people who are trying to earn a living by ….. yes WORKING! By reading through your blogs and DWPCORRUPTION it seems you spend too much timing complaining with no solution. For example the car parking ticket. You buy a ticket at 2pm for 2hours, you know full well that to avoid a fine you should be back at your car by 4pm latest? But yet you decide to brag that you have numerous parking tickets clearly stating that you are not capable of carrying out a simple basic task??!! Where is the intelligence in that?!

This guy Martin seems to be doing sterling work exposing the endemic corruption at the DWP, exposing wrongdoing like this.
Issues Mr Tony Watts Has Encountered Between The Courts And The DWP Since 1999
The Courts and The DWP
Mr Watts’ mother was receiving her pension and Attendance Allowance. There was an overpayment which was for £299 after Mr Watts’ mother passed away and this was returned.
The DWP took Mr Watts to court for what they claimed was an overpayment of £1681.90 pounds which was for about £800 in pension and £900 Attendance Allowance.
Fourteen months later Mr Watts was summoned to court for the £299 as well.
Mr Watts was found guilty of fraud and therefore not entitled to his Hackney Carriage licence for Mid Beds but had one for South Beds for 10 years. Mr Watts was told he could be put on probation and to do this he would have to admit the wrongdoing – which was an attempt to get him to admit something he didn’t do. Quire rightly, Mr Watts refused.
On 5th December 2000, Mr Watts was found innocent regarding the £1681.90 and the case was thrown out. But the DWP still took £1681.90 off him.
In August 2005 Mr Watts took DWP to the Small claims Court for £2575.32 which included £893.42 interest
Judgement for claimant – the DWP was ordered to pay up. But as usual the DWP ignored it. Mr Watts left it 16 days.
On 30th Sept 2005 Mr Watts took out warrant of execution against the DWP
Again it was completely ignored by the DWP and their legal teams.
Next Mr Watts received a General Form of Judgement or Order but the judge threw it out at his own choice on the grounds of devoid of merit. This of course is a load of bull exercised by the judge using his discretion.
So Mr Watts started all over again with the Small Claims Court
Then on 16th March 2006 Mr Watts received an Extended Civil Restraint Order threatening prison if Mr Watts persisted with his endeavour to get justice and what was rightfully his.
If the judge had seen court document the evidence was there. See 7
At this stage, Mr Watts thought “Sod this” and decided to go to the CPS
Mr Watts went to Luton police FAO CID. The officer at the desk claimed there appears to be no evidence of wrongdoing by DWP from the documents. The investigation took 5 minutes at front desk and refused to pass it on to CID.
Mr Watts got in touch with R.A. Newcombe, Chief Crown Prosecutor, Luton CPS and was told nothing could be done in spite of RAN having all the evidence.
The DWP had somehow conveniently lost the tape containing Mr Watts’ interview under caution which contains all the facts.
Anything that is lost or cannot be found you can guarantee that it would undermine their prosecution. This is also a serious abuse of due process.
All this over an alleged overpayment of £299.
If Judge Farnworth had seen the evidence he would have seen the Court Register which was not fit for purpose.
This is one of many cases where you cannot get justice and all the evidence against them is ignored as well as conveniently lost by them if it is in their possession.
You can get the feeling they were in the wrong and they did everything possible to make Mr Watts look at fault and wouldn’t honour the truth. They are all like what cowards on The Weakest Link are by making the strongest look the weakest because the strongest is a threat to the success of the corrupted; so criminalising those who are in the right in order to make them look in the wrong is typical of what Common Purpose cowards do.
Mr Watts deserves some credit for standing up to these cowards and providing the evidence behind the corruption exercised by the DWP in addition to remaining firm and not being driven into the ground with all this pressure. After all, it is the policy of those involved with Common Purpose (leading beyond authority) to steer people towards committing suicide so that the truth will never come out. Those involved with Common Purpose don’t like the truth because it is not in their favour so they are out to suppress it as well as destroying all the evidence surrounding what they do to suppress it so that they appear whiter than white with no consideration for what they are subjecting the most vulnerable within society to. Anyone who wants to abuse their power of authority will find it easier to exploit the vulnerable but to do this, those responsible must be evil.

To claim the 3% corruption of DWP employees is only actually expressing the what we are victims of.
The basic office employee will not be corrupt as not in a position to access nor decision make anything without a trail to follow and be too obvious to agenda, as there is no big media expos’e,… is it then not, therefore, that this must be the hierachy of DWP that are corrupt? (which proves an unknowingly corrupt entirety of basic employees being involved in the corruption?)

This guy (assumption, could be female?), is obviously a person employed by the J.C.P or DWP.
There is no reason to come by these sites unless, affected, advice for those affected and/or spying.
My view is that, most spies will be ‘sneaks or infiltrators’, either to see what we know and say to eachother or pretend to be in a similar situation and ask many questions.
This DEZDEZ clearly is neither and, a rather immature ‘employee’ seemingly clueless of, any real life trauma experiences.
An idiotic little individual who only wants to upset people whom are going through enough hell already.

Well he/she hasn’t come back, and if he/she is a DWP employee the presentation would be a little better, this person writes like an eight year old, and there is no way the DWP would let anyone represent them on any Blogs or forums especially writing like that.
My guess is that it’s some sad individual who is criminally insane and in some dreadful place like Broadmoor and is in for life with no getting out, but to keep him happy the nurses have provided a basic laptop to play around with.

They lost my last medical certificate even though it was sent by recorded delivery and signed for at there end.
I am in the process of putting in a complaint, and sending the receipt of recorded delivery postage.

Allison…I used to think it was the DWP that lost them, now Im not so sure, I found out that the DWP have a contract with the post office and it’s them (PO) no doubt who are losing them through carelessness, imagine at the post office with thousands of sick lines, ESA 85s, ESA 50s and all the other stuff that get’s sent there way and being handled by school leavers some who can hardly count or spell unless it’s through text speak, are they really going to give a rats ass if your sick line gets there or not ?. They have lost at least three of mine…Grrrr.
But you will notice that if any correspondence gets sent our way, doesn’t matter what it is, we always receive it ?.

Ive had no money for a month, every time I phoned they said they didnt recieve my sick note, that I should go back to my doctor, so I phoned up, and was told that a duplicate sick note would cost me, considering still have no money. cant put money on my phone when the surgery said to phone the next day. I cant take anymore, so signed on job seekers, even though I have arthritis, and depression, Im sure I could do some kind of work, Ive been treated as if Im a liar at the age of 51 up until 2yrs ago I was a personel support worker, why would anyone lie for the sake of 135 a fortnight, its a disgrace what this countrys coming too, how can they not blink an eye, when you tell them you havent had a payment for a month, surely someone knows something?I constantly phoned from the job centre, this carry on adds to peoples ill health, the vunerable, and who cares? not them.

This seems to be a constant problem, missing sick notes, two of mine went missing for some reason as well but got duplicates from the GP, never heard of anyone having to pay for a duplicate, what a scandal.
You don’t need to stay on Job seekers though if you want you can come of when your sick line expires and get another then continue on with ESA, but this time hand it in and ask for it to be photocopied.
Don’t you just hate the DWP ? they actually think people love them as well, if only they knew how much people can’t stand them, it’s strange but when you meet people socially they never admit they have anything to do with the Department of work and pensions, never in my life out of all the people I’ve ever meet have said/admitted that they work for the DWP..!!

Yes I know it’s a disgrace, and you are right they are trying any dirty trick to get you/us off sickness benefits, they don’t care how ill a person is.
All I can say is if you want to give yourself the best chance of your sick line arriving at the DWP then you should always use their pre-paid envelope with their address showing through the window, make sure you staple the sick line to the address as well, of course that doesn’t guarantee it will definitely arrive there but as I said it gives you the best chance.
Even handing it in to your local Job centre plus is no guarantee, I once handed a line in personally and they photo-copied it and still lost it…..MORONS.

Looks like he is going tohave to support me finanially again soon as my contribution based ESA is about to run out 30th April 2012, i have submitted my bundle for appeal to be put into the support group.
